Team Jobs has a great opportunity for candidates who have experience and are looking for an opportunity to work as a Manufacturing Engineer


Pay Rate: 30 - 35 p/h PAYE (depending on experience)

Full time: Monday - Friday

Contract Length - 6 month with possibility of being extended

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting multiple teams of other product design engineers, test design engineers, production, and service centre staff to resolve issues with product design, modification, upgrades, customer investigations, supplier investigations, obsolescence, and test system design changes.
  • Be part of product transitions from development to repair phase.
  • Providing support Product review board (PRB)
  • Support tooling requests and documentation development
  • Guide and train operations on processes and support R+O operations leader
  • Engage in and drive materials savings projects to reduce manufacturing and repair costs.
  • Provide shop floor engineering guidance to reduce scrap and past due coming up with improved work scopes and processes.
  • Removing waste from the repair process.
  • Lead capital purchases initiatives
  • Provide estimates and statements of work for various engineering efforts and projects.
  • Communicate directly with internal and external customers and suppliers about status on resolutions for problems such as supply chain delivery disruptions, no-fault-found situations, defect escapes, warranty review, and first-year-in-service failures.

Key Skills:

-Strong understanding of manufacturing process

-Efficient problem solving skills

-Having an attention to details to ensure product quality and consistency

-Knowledge of safety protocols
