Trainee Accountant/Accounts Senior
Do you have a degree in accounting or have completed your AAT level 4 an would like to work for a company that will support you through your ACCA qualification?

Are you newly/part ACA/ACCA qualified, already with a background in Accountancy?
A leading independent practice on the outskirts of York would like to talk to you. They have a significant presence in Yorkshire as an established, accountancy, tax and business advisory firm.
Salary: £23-32K (plus) depending on experience level
Hours: 9-5pm Monday to Friday, Flexitime
Holidays: 36 days inc. bank holidays and study support

The Trainee Accountant/Accounts Senior will be a key member of the Business Services Department and your typical daily duties will include:
- Preparation and completion of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and companies
- Use of Xero, Iris and other accountancy software
- Reconciliation of control accounts
- Supporting junior colleagues with queries
- Preparation of management accounts
- Dealing with ad hoc queries raised by clients
- Maintaining and developing technical ability by attending webinars and keeping abreast of technical development
