Due to substantial growth, this company are looking for a Assistant Accountant to join their existing team!
WHAT YOU WILL WANT TO KNOW AS AN ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT...
- £26,000-£30,000 PRO RATA
- Part time- 22.5 hours per week (can be full time!)
- Flexible working, as long as the core hours of 10-3 are covered
- 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays (increasing holiday entitlement with longevity of service)
- Hybrid working
- Free parking on site
- Commission scheme in place
A SNAPSHOT OF THE ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT DAY
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation and posting of monthly journals to accounting system
- Prepayments / Accruals
- Assist with annual Budgets / Forecasts
- Bank Reconciliation
- Raising Sales invoices for marketing activity

- Be AAT qualified or QBE
- Have 2 + years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with Sage systems
- Experience gained within an SME, or owner managed business would be advantageous
