Administrative Assistant

Salary Range: £23,000 - £24,000

We are working with a very exciting business who due to company growth are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join the Operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone very detail oriented and looking to grow their career.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Process invoices for completed orders using online portals and manual invoicing spreadsheets.
  • Track and follow up on processed and dispatched orders.
  • Create and update databases with customer details.
  • Monitor and update any changes to customers’ product references and costings.
  • Send out completed invoices to customers via email and post.
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence as required.
  • Address queries in the order inbox.
  • Keep consumable portals up to date.
  • Assist the Logistics Supervisor with additional ad hoc tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previously worked in an office-based role or alternatively have used excel as part of their role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritising tasks and working with minimal supervision after training. They will be self-motivated, trustworthy, and have a keen eye for detail, while also possessing the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

You will report to the Operations Manager and may be called upon to assist with tasks from other departments as needed.
