TS Recruitment are actively working with an Electrical Contractor based in York who are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager.
Benefits
- Basic salary circa £50-60,000 per annum
- Company car or allowance
- Bonus scheme
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 3% employer and 5% employee pension contributions
Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Managing Director to carry out all commercial duties.
- Carry out Estimates and submit tenders for electrical refurb projects in the Yorkshire region.
- Attend client meetings.
- Work closely with the Contracts Managers regarding valuations and submit payment applications.
- Ensure projects are complete within budget and profitable.
- Attend Senior Management meetings and provide forecasts and cost value reports.
- Build relationships with main contractors and clients.
- Even split between Estimating and Quantity Surveying
Company Details

- Specialist Electrical contractor
- Approved contractor on several frameworks
- Work on commercial refurb projects and maintenance work.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Commercial experience working as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor.
- A desire to grow a business and grow a team in time.
- Quantity Surveying degree preferred but not essential.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft excel.
- Full UK driving license
