The role:

This role provides support to the Project Manager and Managing Director. The role opens varying opportunities of progression and development. Experience in the construction industry would be an advantage but not essential, provided you are willing to learn

You will learn all aspects of contract management starting with the basics and working your way through. Training and guidance will be provided by our Project Manager as well as our Managing Director.

The successful applicant with be methodical, accurate and be capable of working to deadlines. You must have a positive outlook together with a professional attitude, and be confident in dealing with internal management, contractors, employees, suppliers, and customers. The ideal candidate will also have a clean driving licence.

Key Tasks Include assisting with:

  • Liaising with clients, fitters, and sub-trades.
  • Running/organise small projects
  • Meet clients at key stages of schedule.
  • Managing fitters
  • Attend contracts meeting

Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Excellent communication and organisation skills both verbal and written.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and MS office.
  • Project driven, numerate and methodical in approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, common sense required as well as a good sense of humour!
  • Full clean UK driving licence

The role involves frequent travel throughout the UK (mainly Yorkshire based) visiting sites, including periods of site-based work where required.
