A new opportunity is available for a Health & Safety Manager to join an established multi-sector construction business build who operate on both a regional and nationally basis.

The position will be based from the businesses North Yorkshire offices and will have responsibility for making sure the business is compliant with HSEQ matters across its sites whilst delivering its operationally duties, as well managing the longer term strategic and contractual aspects of Health, Safety and Compliance within the business.

To be considered for this post you should fit the following criteria;

  • Have a proven track record in delivering health, safety and quality policy within a construction business, experience of sectors such as newbuild, social housing maintenance and refurb would be advantageous.
  • Have operated within a management role previously within a similar environment.
  • Be comfortable operating within a hands-on role.
  • Hold a minimum of Nebosh construction certification or equivalent level, as well as an understanding of ISO 9001, 14,001 and 18,001.
  • Have strong communication skills, with ability to engage at all levels within the business, clients and associated subcontractors.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills
  • Full UK driving licence.
