Join our team as a Retail Manager at York’s Chocolate Story
York's Chocolate Story, located in the heart of York, is an entertaining and informative guided tour through the history of York's most famous chocolate-making families and their finest creations. Guests discover chocolate's origins, how to make it, how to taste it like an expert and even the sustainable future of chocolate.
We are currently looking for a full time Retail Manager to join our team. You must be a natural leader who is ambitious, flexible, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills whilst enjoying working as part of a team. The role is varied and you need to be a fast thinker and work well under pressure.
This role is responsible for the retail offer, F&B offer and photo opportunity for the attraction ensuring that brand standards are adhered to and exceptional guest experience is delivered. This role will offer the right candidate the opportunity to lead a team, to have fun delivering exceptional guest experience and to pursue successful commercial performance.
You will have; previous management experience in a retail environment, a proven track record of delivering results, a sound understanding of financial procedures, effective leadership of people and experience managing budgets and stock.

Contract: 40 hours available. Permanent Contract. Weekends & Bank Holidays included
Salary: £25,224 per annum.
