We are searching for a renewable energy Technical Support Manager who will play a pivotal part within the sales team and provide technical support for Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pump systems.

Job: Technical Support Manager

Location: York / Office Based

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Per Annum

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Technical Support Manager Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing ASHP, GSHP, Solar PV systems, and batteries based on provided surveys.
  • Ensure adherence to Building Regulations, Planning Regulations, and Building Control Legislations.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ability to make quick and consultative decisions to ensure an efficient environment for project implementation
  • Travel occasionally to collaborate with key stakeholders nationwide.
  • Aid in preparing quotations for renewable energy systems
  • Offer technical support to surveyors and the sales team
  • Provide technical training and serve as a technical mentor to the sales team

Technical Support Manager Requirements:

  • Background in electrical and/or plumbing and heating
  • in-depth knowledge and understanding of ASHP and Solar PV systems
  • Problem solving skills
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Customer Service Experience
  • GCSE Qualifications A-C/ 5 O 'Levels
