Hornington Manor is a unique barn, wedding venue set within the grounds of a working farm in Bolton Percy, near Tadcaster.

We are seeking a Sales & Events Coordinator to join the Harrison Spinks events team, to support the in-house team with all event sales and operational processes at Hornington Manor

As a Sales & Events Coordinator, you will support the General Manager with all event sales processes at Hornington Manor, whilst overseeing wedding enquiries including conducting show round appointments, producing quotes, proactive and reactive sales, completing events booking process and follow up calls.

Full time position, working 5 days over 7. Weekend & Evening work will be required.

Key Duties include:

  • Champion excellence by demonstrating a high level of attention to detail to provide a consistently elite level of service throughout our weddings and events.
  • To ensure consistent outstanding enquiry handling processes are implemented with every call, email, online enquiry, and walk-in.
  • Good reactive and proactive sales approach to enquiries, ensuring no sales opportunities are missed.
  • To ensure excellent management of all pre and post event communications
  • To ensure all booking/CMS/Internal system are utilized effectively and efficiently for all enquiries and sales.
  • To ensure attention to detail is applied when completing all event itineraries so they are always completely up to date.
  • To identify areas of upselling opportunity and be proactive in increasing revenue generation.
  • Be the main point of contact for prospective wedding guests, customers and clients.
  • To support in the organisation of, and the attendance of, wedding fairs, exhibitions and B2B networking events both internally and externally.
  • Working with the wider operational team to achieve exceptional service from the beginning to the end of all events.

Key Skills & Experience:

With a superb eye for detail, you will have excellent communication skills both written and verbally whilst having a creative flair to maximize new sales & marketing opportunities.

As a key team player, you will have an enthusiastic and flexible approach to react on a day-to-day basis for requests.

You will be driven by delivering exceptional standards and have a true passion to deliver outstanding results.
