People Services Advisor opportunity available on a 12 month fixed term contract basis working for a leading professional services company based in York, North Yorkshire. This role is based at their York office and offer hybrid / home working.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting various activities in the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, reward and benefits administration, HR systems partnering, employee inquiries and advice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and committed to enhancing the employee experience through seamless people operations and advice.

The role:

  • Responsible for handling and resolving all queries, requests and issues in relation to global HR and employment policies
  • Provide sound advice and guidance to employees and managers in relation to people policies, employment law and processes
  • Identify and implement solutions to specific people issues that align with business objectives
  • Coach and empower line managers to effectively manage employee issues, including absence and performance issues
  • Responsible for the input and maintenance of employee data to HR systems and transferring data to agreed internal and third party services
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee lifecycle processes, such as onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, putting the employee experience at the forefront
  • Responsible for Reward and Benefits administration
  • Manage payroll input and changes accurately and processed in accordance with payroll cut offs

Experience and Skills required in the role:

  • Previous experience in a HR Advisor role
  • Experience dealing with employee relation casework and the employee lifecycle
  • Data and technology proficient

The salary is paying up to £35,000 plus Benefits
