Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from experienced Commercial Plumbers interested in working for a leading facilities maintenance company based at a static site in the Yorkshire area.
Responsibilities
- As a commercial plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in our client's commercial facility.
- Your duties will include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and building specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Installing pipes and fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters.
- Repairing and replacing damaged or defective plumbing parts.
- Conducting inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of plumbing systems.
- Collaborating with other tradespeople, contractors, and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Adhering to safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Level 3 City & Guilds Plumbing ideally level 2.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Proven experience as a commercial plumber.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting heavy pipes and equipment.
