You're part of the team that sets the first impression. Who gets them into the park with a smile on their face, and keeps it there no matter what trouble they face. You'll upsell the works when it comes to our tickets and passes; and keep them coming back for more and more visits. You wont be just taking the tickets through, this job is your ticket to an exciting season of fun!

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Supporting the Six Flags Mantra – Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe Service
  • Welcoming and greeting all guests that enter and exit the park
  • Taking tickets or season passes for each guest entering the park
  • Operating the computerized season pass system and processing the season passes
  • Answering guest questions regarding park policies and procedures
  • Selling park admission tickets using a computerized point of sale system
  • Completing accurate toll plaza transactions for cars entering the parking lot
  • Ensuring accountability for cash bank on a daily basis
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

 

How You Will Do It:

  • Ability to interact in a professional and positive manner
  • Analytical problem solving skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to address guest concerns
  • Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language

 

 What You Will Need:

  • Willing to work in a high performance team environment
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
  • 16 years old or older

ERRORS/SAFETY

Errors in performance, mismanaged paperwork, or failure to adhere to and enforce Operations policies as stated in any Standard Operating Procedures Manual may result in injuries or fatalities to yourself or others

CONTACT WITH OTHERS

Direct and continuous interaction with Team Members, Guests, Leads, and Supervisors throughout the entire park

CONFIDENTIAL DATA

·        Access to confidential information such as reports, phone listings, etc.

High exposure to confidential data.

MENTAL OR VISUAL DEMAND

Requires normal visual and mental demand.

PHYSICAL DEMAND

·        Requires long hours standing, or continuous sitting, bending, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech. 

·        Requires frequent kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition.

·        Requires good vision with near and far acuity.

·        Requires using a telephone, radios, and computer equipment.

·        Requires the ability to move and work in different work stations, hand and arm movement.

·        Must be able to lift and carry 15 lbs across 25 feet over various surfaces

·        Must be able to lift and lower 5 lbs above shoulder level

WORKING CONDITIONS

·        Mainly works inside and closely with others

·        Primarily works alone, is exposed to dust/dirt, water

·        Must be willing to work in all weather conditions if necessary
