You are a vital part of what make the Six Flags team run. By keeping our restaurants stocked with food and ensuring our stores stay packed with merchandise and gifts for our guests to buy. You’ll receive and organize the incoming orders, and ensure our inventory stays up to date. You'll contribute to our mission by:

  • Supporting the Six Flags Mantra -- Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe Service
  • Receiving and verifying trucks from vendors, and storing product in a safe and efficient manner
  • Helping to unload trucks
  • Maintaining adequate levels of department stock by fulfilling orders and delivering product to units
  • Ensuring all department supplies and equipment are in good operating condition
  • Ensuring that the warehouses are kept in an orderly manner
  • Assisting with weekly inventories on all merchandise
  • Performing monthly physical counts of all warehouses

  • Have a valid drivers license

No previous experience is required.

COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES

  • Receiving of products into Six Flags New England for distribution into the various departments
  • To participate in the inventory control process on a daily basis
  • Must be able to read invoices
  • Be able to work flexible hours at nights and weekends
  • Must be able to follow directions to complete tasks.
  • Must be able to understand food rotational procedures (FIFO)

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

Under the general supervision of Warehouse Leadership

SAFETY

  • Must use proper lifting techniques
  • Maintain a safe driving record while using company vehicles
  • Comply with all Six Flags policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Practice safe handling skills

CONTACT WITH OTHERS

Direct and continuous interaction with Team Members, Leads, and Supervisors throughout the entire park. Must be able to understand the parks guest needs.

CONFIDENTIAL DATA

Access to confidential information such as reports, phone listings, etc.  High exposure to confidential data. Must be able to pass a full background records check.

MENTAL OR VISUAL DEMAND

  • Requires normal visual and mental demand
  • The ability to speak, read and understand the English language

PHYSICAL DEMAND

  • Requires lifting, standing, walking, bending, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech
  • Requires frequent kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition
  • Requires using telephone, radios, and computer equipment
  • Strong physical mobility--the ability to move easily in different work stations, hand and arm movement and utilizes safe lifting and carrying techniques
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a times and as many as 14 hours a day
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently with a maximum of 80 lbs
  • Must be able to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance
  • Must be able to lift and lower up to 40 lbs above shoulder level
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to an 80 lb load over 25 feet
  • Must be able to push/pull 150 lbs over 50 feet over various surfaces
  • Must be able to climb a ladder up to 12 ft. in height
  • Must be able to climb a stepladder up to 6 ft. in height

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Continuously works inside and out in all weather conditions
  • Primarily works with other team members
  • Work includes, working in a sub-zero environment (Freezers)
  • Must be able to function in all weather conditions for long periods of time
