About the Role:

Job Summary

Performs all required duties in a courteous and professional manner. The Corporate Security Officer will be the first contact of visitors entering Northeast Georgia Health System Corporate Plaza. 

The Corporate Security Officer will identify visitors through forms of photographic state identification cards (i.e.;
drivers licenses), will ensure that visitors are issued adhesive passes and direct visitors to affix the pass on their outermost garment. The Corporate Security Officer will ensure escorts are provided for visitors to departments within NGHS Corporate Plaza. 

The Corporate Security Officer will respond to all building alarms and emergencies at the facility as well as on the plaza grounds. The Corporate Security Officer will be responsible for the monitoring of CCTV cameras, and will be the primary point of contact for the on duty manager. The Corporate Security Officer will be the central contact person for any physical plant issues and must be able to write and request Plant Operations work orders and IT help desk tickets. 

The Corporate Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring and report any alarms or access control issues during business hours, up to and including troubleshooting of access control components. The Corporate Security Officer will be responsible for reviewing, collecting and reporting all after hours badge access entries and should have knowledge of Microsoft excel and word. 

The Corporate Security Officer must conduct escorts of employees to their vehicles when possible and be able to perform all security related functions of the NGHS Security Department. The Corporate Security Officer must be an independent worker.



Minimum Job Qualifications

* Licensure or other certifications: Valid GA Drivers License or Identification Card. 

Current BLS Certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

* Serves as the primary and central customer service representative for Corporate Plaza;
answers information inquiries and assists staff by trouble-shooting issues in a centralized process.

* Maintains the facility video surveillance and alarm systems and conducts surveillance on nefarious or criminal;
preserves all critical documentation for liability reduction through established Security Services software and processes.

* Serves as the primary law enforcement and public safety liaison for Corporate Plaza.

* Maintains an activity log of all activity, incidents and events during their assigned shift.

* Performs other duties as needed and assigned by the Security Manager.

Profile
* At least 5 years of work experience in several domains of security architecture (Operational Technologies, Software Development, Networking, Identity and Access Management, Mobility, etc)

This includes continuous monitoring and making improvements to those solutions, working with an information security team
* Certification as an Information Systems Security Architecture Professional is a plus (CISSP-ISSAP or equivalent certifications)

Description
* Develop and maintain a security architecture process that enables the enterprise to develop and implement security solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with the business, technology, and threat drivers and mitigate threats as they emerge.


* Track developments and changes in the digital business and threat environments to ensure that they're adequately addressed in security strategy plans and architecture artifacts
* Be part of the Enterprise Architecture team and liaise with other architects and security practitioners to share best practices, align on architectural goals and define common roadmaps.


Profile
* At least 5 years of work experience in several domains of security architecture (Operational Technologies, Software Development, Networking, Identity and Access Management, Mobility, etc)

Responsible for the security of the information systems at the facility and certifies to DSS that all security requirements are in place and the system is properly configured and protected.

* Manages and oversees the compliance and policy aspects for the company regarding Information Assurance for systems and networks that contact government information.

* Maintain thorough understanding of NIST 800-53 controls, and determine which controls are applicable to the application, as well as document implementation in Security Controls Tractability Matrix (SCTM).


* Reviews and performs technical inspections to identify and mitigate potential security weaknesses and ensure that all security features applied to a system are implemented and functional.
* Monitors and resolves Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&amp;
M) to mitigate system vulnerabilities on assigned Information Systems.


* Reviews and maintains security assessment and authorization documentation (e.g., IA SOP, SSP, MSSP, RAR, SCTM)
