AAA East Central has an opportunity available for a Facilities Technician based out of our administrative headquarter location on Marcon Boulevard, in Allentown, PA.
The Facilities Technician will strive for facilities excellence and have a great eye for detail. They are critical to support the care for our Facilities. They are knowledgeable about general building and grounds maintenance as well as general construction, for our administrative and five branch locations, all within a 50-mile radius.Â
This position is Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm with availability to work overtime, if needed.
Responsibilities:
Daily travel to the above noted AAA facilities. A company vehicle is provided during work hours to transport maintenance equipment, shipments, and courier AAA retail materials when required.
Monitor interior and exterior building maintenance, including, but not limited to, employee safety issues, security, housekeeping, electrical, plumbing, painting, cosmetic repairs, structural, grounds care and other preventative maintenance, as needed at both the administrative and branch facilities.
Assist with preparing and receiving shipments, order fulfillment and maintaining stock.
Assist with miscellaneous office projects, furniture relocation, and event set up.
Exhibit responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, self-motivation, and a high level of attention to detail.
You must maintain proper and safe use of equipment in compliance with OSHA standards.
What We're Looking For:
Two plus years of prior experience.
Ability to work independently.
Knowledge of and ability to comply with OSHA regulations and other safety related subjects as it applies to the position.
Ability to work one Sunday per year for the AAA Travel Expo which takes place in February.
Safe Business Driving RequirementsÂ
Possess & maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Provide proof of automobile liability insurance at time of hire.
