Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Intern is to gain knowledge and direct work experience in the hospitality industry. The focus area for this internship will be in the Capital Finance Department.
Work Performed:
The Intern will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
- Supervise and develop your Cost Accounting capabilities through project-based assignments to add value to the company;
- Research, review, and analyze the cost controls, processes, and documentation;
- Attend, take notes and memo during company meetings and provide feedback and/or recommendations to the company;
- Shadow various positions within the Capital Finance Department and train on handling a variety of tasks;
- Manage databases and input information, data, and records;
- Respond to both internal and external correspondence and emails; and
Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
Preferred Prior Experience:
Hospitality experience
Required Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Enrolled in an accredited university/college program
Required Technology:
Beginner/Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Physical:
Up to 8+ hours sitting at a desk and computer work.
Other:
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively multi-task
