We have a Quality Assurance Technician position open to perform testing on finished product, packaging, and raw materials in a FDA and GMP setting! You would also cross-train on their chemistry lab to support there as needed. This is a night shift position working 6pm-6am with tons of opportunity for growth and overtime!
Job Duties:
- Manage finished product, packaging, and raw material sample receipt, handling, and testing.
- Perform component testing on incoming ingredients.
- Perform testing on incoming raw materials for release, usage and review.
- Maintain laboratory environment that is clean and safe by following proper policies, procedures and techniques.
- Take temperatures of laboratory refrigerators and incubators on a daily basis.
- Order supplies and track inventory of laboratory consumables.
- Accurately records, reviews, and verify results.
- Laboratory data consolidation, trending, and reporting to operational teams.
- Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly quality and food safety internal audits of the facility.
- Obtain and maintain appendix N certification, successfully complete annual split samples.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Associates degree in life science discipline is preferred
- 1+ year of experience working within food manufacturing or a quality lab
