Our client, a large networking and telecommunications company is seeking a Site Acquisition Manager I to join their team in Athens Ohio. 

Job Title: Site Acquisition Manager I
Location: Athens Ohio
Pay range: $38/hr - $43/hr based on experience


The Site Acquisition Manager I (SAM I) is responsible for all entitlement requirements of the telecommunications equipment deployment for the assigned job/sites and is the recognized leader and decision maker on all issues falling under the entitlement and pre-construction scopes of work. 
The SAM I provides support, forecasting, quality control for a project’s site development activities. 
This position contributes to the site acquisition team’s timely execution of real estate, design, zoning, permitting and compliance activities.  

What’s the Job?

  • Responsible for forecasting and delivering on forecasted dates within the applicable database of record. 
  • Lead weekly deployment calls with Service Providers and site acquisition teams to solidify and report on- site Status, issue Owner, Action required and Timeframe for issue resolution. 
  • Report directly to Customer representative and/or Customer Project Management detail on every site in deployment plan- site Status, issue Owner, the Action required and the Timeframe for resolution. 
    Responsible for ensuring deliverables are attained within the forecasted timeframe for all Site Acquisition activities on projects
  • Resource & Project Management 

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts preferred (4-year college degree) with concentration in business, planning, engineering, construction management or equivalent work experience in the wireless site development industry. 
  • Post-graduate degree in applicable discipline a plus. 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in telecommunication Site Acquisition. 
  • Extensive experience working with MLA partners and tower companies. 
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract language review skills. 
  • Deep understanding of Real Estate practices and processes. 
  • Knowledge of LTE network design fundamentals. 
  • Real Estate Sales or Brokers license or License to Practice Law in any State a plus. 
  • Telecommunications construction process knowledge a plus.
