About the Role
Â
As a Dog Groomer at Scenthound, you’ll provide expert grooming services while mentoring and guiding our bathers and groomers-in-training. This is the perfect role for an experienced groomer who enjoys a low-stress environment, simplified styling, and helping others grow.

You’ll work closely with the center leadership team and help create a positive, educational, and efficient grooming environment.
What You’ll Do
Â
- Provide safe, high-quality grooming services according to Scenthound standards
- Perform functional puppy cuts (one length all-over with a neat face) — customizations as needed
- Mentor and coach groomers-in-training and bathers
- Create an environment of open communication, learning, and teamwork
- Identify areas where support is needed and assist as needed to keep the schedule on track
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs and team members
- Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times
- Support the Scenter Manager and assist with additional responsibilities as needed
Who You Are
Â
- A skilled groomer – At least 1 year of grooming experience or grooming school graduate
- A teacher at heart – You enjoy mentoring and helping others grow
- A team player – You thrive in a collaborative, supportive environment
- Calm and composed – You stay cool under pressure and love working with dogs of all temperaments
- Detail-oriented – You maintain high grooming and safety standards
- Strong and reliable – Able to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods
- Great communicator – With both dog parents and teammates
