Job Description:
The Laboratory Technician will be working on Adhesive portfolio (product development) for the writing division. This individual will work under supervisor of Chemist to help with the testing. They will work on different projects assigned to them daily and will have a test plan that they will be required to carry out. The Laboratory Technician will work together with the Lead Chemist on various test plans to understand how many samples need to be ran. Testing includes QC testing, performance testing for toys, claims testing, benchmarking testing, pH & Viscosity testing, mix of chemistry and mechanical testing.
The Laboratory Technician could work on adhesives, glue, pencils, or markers depending on the business need. This will allow for them to learn the science for the different platforms, for testing is different for each platform.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have an Associates degree in Science at a minimum with experience working in a lab
- 6+ months of experience testing in a lab (reference/diagnostic, chemistry, materials, biology)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to follow up on processes, organized and self-motivated
- Experience working in a QC test - measuring viscosity, PH, density, particle size
- Experience working on an instron machine is a plus
- $20/hr
