Description: Shipping/Material Handler
We are Looking for Shipping/Material Handler who will accurately provide inventory information for company controlled material stock. You will also monitor, organize and maintain inventory of company product at multiple branch locations while working alongside a diverse group of people.
Shifts Available:
- Monday-Friday 4:30am - 3:00pm | Location: Auburn, Wa
- Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Monday - Friday 12:00pm-8:30pm
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
-Will operate sit-down forklifts, order pickers, and side-loader forklifts.
-Will conduct inventory control & cycle counting duties.
-Will enter data for inventory into a computer
-Will record data manually using a clip board
-Will load and unload metal materials (raw materials) both manually and with a forklift.
You'll be responsible for:
• Completing material receiving activities for shipments between locations or direct from the mill.
• Coordinating movement of material from stock to processing to support production requirements.
• Operating material handling equipment as necessary to support movement of material.
• Performing accurate and timely data entry within the inventory management system regarding material movements.
• Preparing and maintaining appropriate inventory identification tags.
• Completing material consolidation tasks, including supermarket.
• Identifying material shortages and issues, and communicate to appropriate staff.
• Performing verification of scrap
• Maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all work
• Assisting quality assurance team in activities related to credits
• Performing equipment preventative maintenance and clean up

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1. Ability and experience operating a sit-down forklift
2. Strong attendance and work history with regards to tenure.
