Description:
The lab technician will be responsible for conducting standard microbiological testing like E.coli and Salmonella testing, as well as preparing and autoclaving the media. The lab tech will also be responsible for conducting waste water testing like titrations and pH testing, and yeast activity testing to ensure a quality product.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Scientific Discipline (Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry) or equivalent work experience
Experience with lab procedures
Experience in a GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) environment is a plus
Ability to follow SOPs
