Medical Assistant

Actalent is currently searching for a Medical assistant to join our team in an orthopedic medicine setting !

Candidates will be responsible for:

• Welcoming patients and vistors, answering or referring inquiries
• Assist Physician with medical tasks such as vital signs, and assisting patients
• Taking Medical History
• Explaining treatment/procedures to patients and preparing them for procedures which includes readying supplies for the Doctor and explaining to the patrient what they are about to have done
• Ensure exam rooms are prepped
• Coordinating treatment with other facilities/physicians

Qualifications:

• Registered or Certified Medical Assitant
• Previous experience in Orthopedics a plus but not required
• Stable work history
• Experienced and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic setting. 35-50 patients a day.
