Distillation Technician

Actalent is hiring for a DISTILLATION TECHNICIAN in BELCAMP, MD

Shift: 7pm - 3am

Description:

• Operation and overseeing of equipment used for distillation process, including distillation of target compounds and batches from specified raw materials
• Temperature checking and completion of batch records per GMP and SOPs
• Complete calculations as required
• Perform product inspection and provide samples for quality control testing
• Recording of various data points as required
• Use of computer system to input data in tracking system
• Comply with best practices, standard operating procedures, and continuously work on improving processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of a High School degree with solid attention to detail and ability to learn unique processes that are very detail specific;
• Must be able to work on different shifts as required
• Previous experience in distillation is preferred
• Previous experience in GMP environment is preferred
