We are currently seeking to hire Lab Techs for a growing facility in Bend, OR. This role will be full-time M-F day shift, starts out at $20hr, and has room for growth within the company (Tech levels 1-4). Ideally looking for someone who has experience working within a lab setting, chemistry knowledge, running tests, creating formulations, etc.
Description:
• Cleans laboratory glassware, disposes of waste and maintains equipment in both current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and non-cGMP laboratories
• Performs basic instrument verifications (e.g. balances, pH meter, pipettes), cleaning and preventative maintenance and may communicate with vendors to schedule instrument service visits and update service contracts
• Helps support lab inventory systems of general laboratory supplies and arranges ordering to prevent shortages, follows up with vendors, and tracks process
• Helps with stability pulls and control of samples and standards in and out of the lab
• Prepares dissolution media, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) mobile phases, and other routine laboratory tasks under the direction of laboratory personnel
• Supports lab efficiencies as appropriate for type of work (e.g. by preparing solutions or kits as needed)
• Issues, reviews and maintains laboratory notebooks, logbooks, and other documentation in accordance with good laboratory practices (GLP)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year of laboratory experience preferred
• College coursework in chemistry, biology or related science or engineering field preferred, but not required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Effective written and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
