We are currently searching for a Maintenance Mechanic located in Blauvelt, NY to support our production facility. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity with a $1000 sign on bonus!
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Competitive pay: $30-35/hr or more depending on experience plus a $1000 sign on bonus

Your Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and repairs production equipment such as gearboxes, pumps, air/hydraulic cylinders and lines, process rolls, reclaim and extrusion equipment, and utilities equipment such as air compressors and water chillers systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot failures on equipment
- Assist with troubleshooting, PM’s and repairs of buildings, equipment and installed systems to include: extrusion, thermoforming, printing machinery, grinders, blowers, plumbing systems, roofs, drains, shop, grounds equipment and other duties as assigned.
- Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices
- Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and system
- Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as; Fire alarm systems, fire pumps and related fire protection system equipment as assigned
What You Need to Be Successful:
- 3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience in a production-based environment (mechanical and electrical)
- Experience with 3 phase electricity, PLCs, control wiring and troubleshooting
- Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance
- Bilingual English-Spanish is preferred
