We are seeking skilled Radiology Technologists to staff at several hospitals for various positions around Indianapolis and Mooresville. We are looking for candidates that are comfortable operating CT, X-ray, and Ultrasound. We currently have various 13-week contract options for day and night shifts available. Full-time, part-time, and weekend options are available. 1-2 years of experience is required. Please note that some positions will require the operation of both CT and X-ray. The pay rate is $48 - $63 per hour, this is subject to change due to contract availability, position, and facility location.
Requirements of the Radiology Technologist
- Active ARRT Certification and Indiana State (ISDH) Licensure.
- ARDMS or ARRT will be accepted for Ultrasound Techs
- 1-2 years of recent and related experience, as required by the facility
- Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
- Must be able to remain calm under pressure
- Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
- Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by the facility

Responsibilities of the Radiology Technologist
- Perform CT, X-ray, or MRI Scans on patients using specialized equipment to produce detailed and quality images.
- Prepare patients by identifying and assisting in removing objects that will interfere with radiology scans.
- Thoroughly explain procedures and safety equipment to ensure patient comfort and enhance understanding.
- Correctly position patients, ensuring alignment, and immobilize/support as necessary to obtain high-quality imaging.
- Operate machines and associated equipment while monitoring/assessing patient conditions.
- Maintain safety protocol at all times, minimizing unnecessary radiation exposures.
- Administers contrast agents as ordered following facility protocol and safety guidelines. Respond promptly to any adverse reactions.
- Review all radiologic images for quality and completeness and collaborate with radiologists as needed.
- Document all relevant patient care, and information in an electronic medical record.
