Position Summary;
This position is responsible for the coordination of the Nursing Supervisors, PCT Float Pool, Agency/Contract Labor and Nurse Extern Program. The Administrative Nursing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the procurement of contract labor including per diem agency; coaches and develops Nursing Supervisor personnel; manages the day to day activities of the Nursing Supervisor Office.. Specific duties include monitoring the productivity of staffing office personnel, Kronos timekeeping, procurement of supplemental staff, critical thinking to oversee staff utilization with input from nursing leaders. Develops staffing programs & reports to manage staff productivity, overtime and utilization and shares these reports with members of Administration. The Administrative Nursing Coordinator maintains all budgets, matrices and position control reports for staffing office personnel. The Administrative Nursing Coordinator communicates with nursing leaders to ensure a financial understanding of their respective budgets, including contract labor. The Administrative Nursing Coordinator implements and maintains spreadsheets for contract usage, schedule usage, sitting hours, and finance billing. The Administrative Nursing Coordinator is responsible as the Hospital System Administrator for Optilink and Policy One. This position includes maintaining, managing and training employees in Optilink and Policy One. The Administrative Nursing Coordinator will facilitate hospital throughput.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Minimum: RN Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Staffing, payroll, 1-2 years leadership experience
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION: RN License in the state of Florida, BLS
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent interpersonal skills is a requirement. Leadership skills required. Analytical and critical thinking skills required. Problem solving and analysis abilities required.
