We are actively looking to hire for a forklift operator.
Starting pay is $20 an hour
Description:
Included responsibilities (Will vary daily based on needs/customer orders):
Operating both stand up and sit down forklifts to transport freight throughout warehouse.
Loading/unloading packages from trucks ranging 10-40lbs.
Sorting and storing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials other stock items.
Gather customer order from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to the shipping department and may load material onto a truck.
Count items to ensure conformance to company standards.
Comply worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
Process clear and accurate paperwork.
Convey material and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
Marks materials with identifying information.
Open bales, crates or other containers if needed.
Maintain inventory records.
Record the amount of materials or items received or distributed.
May use computer to enter records.
Prepare parcels for mailing
Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as requested.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Will be trained on 1st shift for about a week or so depending on their progress and incoming shipments/outgoing orders, then transitioned to 2nd shift.
