TRC Talent is looking for Forming Operators in Canton
This client is a leading supplier of metal fastening products and technology.
Description:
To load, operate, and adjust multi-slide stamping machines and auxiliary equipment to maintain required quality and quality of production.
Schedules:
- 2nd Shift: 3PM-11:30PM Monday-Friday
- *Train on 1st shift: 8:30AM-4PM (up to 3 months. After training has been completed, then you will move to either 1st or 2nd shift.)
Job Duties:
- Set up and operate slide forming production machine.
- Basic level trouble shooting
- Read, interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery.
- Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Performs tooling maintenance.
- Clears machine jams, makes adjustments as needed.
- Perform quality checks and procedures.
- Monitors and updates status of work orders.
- Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work area as scheduled or as needed.
- Maintain necessary records as required by SOP's and work instructions.
- Remove and install dies and tools.
- Basic machine maintenance.
- Other associated duties.
- High school diploma or GED
- Set up and operation multi-slide forming machines and auxiliary equipment (uncoiler, leveler, feeder, scrap take up wheel)
- Demonstrates mechanical abilities.
- Blueprint reading and knowledge of metrics.
- Basic level trouble shooting (tolerances/ tooling/ material /speeds/ etc.)
- Previous experience with Zub and Bihler brand machines is a big plus.
- Knowledge of metric system
