NOW HIRING AN R&D CHEMIST FOR A TOP PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY IN CENTRAL ISLIP, NY!
The general duties and responsibilities of the chemist include but are not limited to:
- Conduct routine testing or other analysis in a specific group or department setting.
- Conduct advanced testing and/or critical testing, as required.
- Operate specialized equipment or conduct specialized skill testing.
- Participate in investigation activities.
- Skilled and hands-on experience in ICP-MS, ICP-OES, UV, HPLC, GC, IC & Dissolution instruments
- Operate a computer and analytical instrument software, including Empower, Mass Hunter, Chromeleon, Lab solutions and LIMS.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have a life science related degree, chemistry is a plus
- Experience in Pharmaceuticals preferred (will interview candidates with a strong nutraceutical experience)
- Prefers solid dose pharmaceutical experience (liquids and powders work too)
- 2-6 years of Pharmaceutical experience using HPLC
Experience Level:
