Project Engineer

Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for design of new equipment/machines as well as interacting directly with customers through concept generation through product validation stages. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: Highland Heights, OH
Pay Rate: Between $45.00 to $52.00/hour (will be dependent on experience level)

Key Responsibilities

• Generation and approval of designs in both Pro-Engineer and AutoCAD
• Mechanical and structural calculations, specification of materials, heat treatment, machining and fabrication methods.
• Coordinate all project related activities with internal teams after award of business including requirements management, design, project timing, customer communication, fabrication and component procurement.

• 5+ years experience in project engineering with direct customer interaction.
• Strong Drafting and 3D CAD background (Pro-Engineer or Creo)
• Prior experience with machine or equipment design is preferred
