Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician 

Location: Columbus,OH

Work Hours : Monday, Wednesday, Friday (8AM-5PM) ; Potential to become 5 days a week 

What’s the Job?
Responsible for performing  general building maintenance and repair duties, light maintenance activities, basic troubleshooting, vendor oversight, and work validation, and minor repairs. Build company and personal reputation of trust and high-quality service delivery.  

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance tasks and repairs as needed.
• Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to priority and emergency situations promptly, including overtime assignments and on-call duties.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and vendors to ensure work is completed efficiently and to high standards.
• Utilize basic computing skills for communication and documentation purposes

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in general building maintenance and repair work.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation, and basic troubleshooting. Proficiency in painting, carpentry, and minor electrical/plumbing tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently
