Summary
Performs standard and complex electroencephalographic recordings under minimum direction. This position is responsible for obtaining standard, cerebral silence, STAT, and outpatient EEG recordings the position is also responsible for monitoring additional physiological phenomena by means of appropriate techniques.
Associate's degree in related field.
Work experience may substitute for minimum education requirement.
American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) registry or American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET) registry within two (2) years of hire.
