Job Summary

 

Sovah Health is looking for the ideal candidate who will be responsible for planning and service associated with PCs and peripherals, printers, phone system, wireless phone system, cable plant management, nurse call system, and Kronos and Motorola clinical systems.

 

·         Provides installation and maintenance for all in-house PCs, printers, scanners, network components, mobile carts, and time clocks.

·         Images PCs to meet customer needs.

·         Assists with phone replacement and repairs to make sure telecommunication needs are met.

·         Provides first level of support for repair of copiers and faxes.

·         Coordinates repair of contract equipment.

·         Installation and repair of nurse call system.

·         Provides Monday thru Friday 8:00 – 5:00 coverage.

·         Serves as key customer contact for inquiries and resolution of customer issues.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education

Associate’s degree or equivalent required; or Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or equivalent field required within one year of hire.

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including week-ends and holidays to insure continuity of care and appropriateness of IT&S coverage to the patients of Sovah Health Danville on all units.

Licenses:

Minimum Work Experience

Three (3) year's electronic repair experience on PCs and PC based equipment preferred
