Sr. Associate, Platform & Delivery Management

The Sr. Associate, Platform & Delivery Management consults with internal business groups to provide high-level application software development services or technical support specifically with Documentary Payments. The incumbent provides comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staffs. In addition, s/he evaluates compliance with the organization's technology standards and works with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications. Partenon core banking knowledge is key.

Responsible for designing, developing, implementing and updating electronic data systems in accordance with the needs of the company. Activities include evaluating, scheduling and resourcing development projects, investigating user needs, writing, testing and maintaining computer programs, and preparing systems documentation. Executes technical plans, system analysis, detailed design specifications, development, unit and component testing.

Essential Functions:

• Analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group.
• Guides and consults with IT management and technical staffs regarding use of emerging technologies and associated services.
• Participates in defining corporate implementation and integration strategies of new technologies.
• Advocates for innovative, creative technology solutions.

Education: bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Work Experience: 9+ years’ experience in software development.

Skills and Abilities:

• Partenon Documentary Payments experience required.
• Strong technical knowledge in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2.
• Proven track record managing large, complex software development/integration projects in both host and distributed environments.
• Basic knowledge of external competition, industry and/or market trends in relation to own business
• Demonstrated understanding of IT Service Management concepts and procedures
• Demonstrated knowledge of the latest technology innovations and their applicability to business operations
• Demonstrated relationship management and leadership skills with a superior ability to make things happen through the use of influence and negotiation with all levels of management.
• Proactive team player with effective time management skills; ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines/projects and keep key players informed.
• Quality management skills

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
