Royal Oaks in Bradbury, CA, one of several HumanGood communities recognized as a Best CCRC-2024 by U.S. News & World Report is seeking an On-Call Maintenance Tech I. Under direct supervision, Maintenance Technician I performs unskilled maintenance work in the daily and preventive care, repair, and maintenance of building systems and equipment; performs plumbing, electrical, roofing, flooring, masonry, painting, mechanical, and carpentry work. This is an entry-level position that serves as an apprentice for Maintenance Technicians Level II. As a representative and team member of the environmental services department, this position is expected to present itself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.
Shift: Tuesday-Saturday: 8 am-4 pm (Shift may change based on needs)
Compensation: $20.00-$21.25 based on experience
To be successful in the role, you would have experience in the following areas:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs
- Install, repair, and dispose of materials
- Handle supply management
- Operate and maintain community and maintenance equipment
- Respond to work orders promptly
- Handle general plumbing and electrical tasks
- Keep work areas clean and orderly
