An ideal candidate must have a high school diploma and have experience working within a lab or basic data entry. Training will be provided.

Candidates must be commutable to their office onsite in Elmwood Park, NJ!

Job Responsibilities:聽
路聽聽聽聽聽 Receive, identify, label, and process specimens as required for processing
路聽聽聽聽聽Labeling of specimen containers, slide(s), and any other materials submitted by the client
路聽聽聽聽聽Ability to handle all specimen types
路聽聽聽聽聽Multi-task between different types of requisitions
路聽聽聽聽聽Maintain departmental production goals to ensure hourly specimen flow to the labs are consistent
路聽聽聽聽聽Review, transcribe, and enter demographic and specimen data into the laboratory information system with 100% accuracy
路聽聽聽聽聽Recognize specimen problems and refer to designated personnel
路聽聽聽聽聽File Requisition Slips, glass slides, and paraffin blocks assisting Laboratory Aide(s) as needed
路聽聽聽聽聽 Perform supply maintenance and clean-up duties to help workflow and efficiency
