Summary of Job: Assist with putting up product and maintenance of theaters, scare zones, and haunted attractions throughout the park for Fright Fest. Applicants must interview on June 8 between 10am-5pm in Human Resources..
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in all Fright Fest set-up with the ability to set up and maintain all décor including props, lights, and set pieces
- Maintain a focus on attention to detail
- Work as a team, collaborate, follow written and verbal directions, and take initiative
- Adhere to all department and company safety policies; wear appropriate safety equipment as needed
- Maintain overall daily cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency
- Will be occasionally operating man lifts and other machinery
- Will be required to complete a fall protection course
- Will be required to complete a general lift operator safety course
- Will be working with minor electrical equipment
- May be asked to help maintain the look of all areas during the run of Fright Fest
- Must be able to preserve confidential information
- Work around common allergens (pollen, dust, hay, straw, corn, latex, etc.)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age with weekday availability
- Those 18 and older may be required to drive company vehicles pending background check, drivers safety course, and possession of a valid US Driver’s License
- Must be able to complete job duties including climbing, kneeling, working in dark or confined spaces, lifting up to 60lbs. and working in heights up to 60ft
- Must be able to operate staple guns and wire snips
- Must be able to work efficiently while being attentive to detail
- Must maintain a positive work environment
- Must be able to confidently troubleshoot problems and identify solutions to positively affect progress
- Must be able to handle stressful situations
- Must have strong work ethic and communication skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
- Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
