Salary Range:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $53,000 - $57,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Your areas of responsibility:

• Develop and maintain optimized plan for purchase order management of externally sourced materials to support manufacturing and customer demand.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Planning, Shipping, and external Suppliers to ensure effective ordering, delivery, and oversight of direct materials.
• Review and maintain planning data within in ERP system to ensure material availability and quantity supports business needs and satisfies supply plans.
• Develop supplier or materials strategies, supplier sourcing/selection, supplier negotiations, material pricing, or the purchase of indirect supplies.
• Develop and maintain Purchase Order plans to effectively support Fairhaven production plans and healthy stocking levels.
• Release purchase orders against raw material, packaging components outsourced materials, and other direct materials required to support Fairhaven production plans and healthy stocking levels.
• Track and follow-up on open purchases through effective communication with suppliers; review and revise P.O.’s when necessary; reschedule & expedite materials as required.
• Develop and maintain day-to-day supplier relationships. Identify and initiate resolution to supplier issues.
• Escalate needs to modify/maintain relevant ERP supply chain data such as supplier lead times, changes to minimum order quantities, multiples, etc.
• Escalate discrepancies with supplier pricing and work with category managers as necessary to resolve issues and modify P.O.’s.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, Supply Chain or related field
• 1+ years' experience in materials planning and/or management for externally sourced materials; chemical industry preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, including the ability to track and ensure completion of multiple orders
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills, including the ability to create single sheet Excel spreadsheets with formulas
• SAP experience (preferred)
