NOW HIRING A LAB TECHNICIAN IN FORT DODGE, IA
PAY: ENTRY LEVEL - $25.00 an hour
EXPERIENCED - $26.00 an hour
Pay is dependent on experience and there is a competitive benefits package.
Description:
- Will join the fermentation team
- Do about 5-10% work in the lab a day, lab work consists of titrations, sampling, aseptic work
- Daily tasks would be counting bacteria, running vessels, work on the growing for bacteria
- They do some production work with the operators but they won't be on the production floor just helping the operators out
- Troubleshooting on HMI screens, comfortable on computers, multitasking, and good note taking
- Would need solid math skills, nothing to in depth but more basic math
- Wearing a full gown and proper PPE while working with samples
- Being able to work alone and on a team as there will be working with a team and working individually
