$15,000.00 SIGN ON BONUS
Examines patients with breathing-related conditions and conductsiagnostic testing. Consults with physicians to develop and implement a treatment plan for the patient. Performs physiotherapy and other treatments and teaches patients to use medications.
Reports to: Director Respiratory Care & Neurodiagnostic Services
Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy - Required
Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy - Preferred
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer skills required.
Certifications:
BLS, certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required upon hire.
ACLS and PALS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required within 1 year of employment.
NRP certification from approved American Heart Association training center is required within 1 year of employment.
Licenses: Licensed by the State of Tennessee as a Respiratory Care Practitioner with ABG endorsement. Temporary initial licensure letter by the State of Tennessee as a graduate respiratory care practitioner, acceptable until state licensure is issued.
Minimum of 6 months Respiratory Care experience preferred
