Description:
The general production worker will be allocated to either the "make-up" or "packaging" lines for croissant production. A breakdown of each positions responsibilities is as follows:Make-Up- Hand curling and twisting dough (comes out as a small cylindrical product) into proper shape for the croissants- Placing the dough after it has been twisted into designated grids on the conveyors for it to be fed down the production line- Pulling twisted dough off the conveyor and placing it on trays for racking- Picking out the scraps of dough that are excess or break off from post-twistPackaging- Unload dough from the racks and trays after it has been baked- Feed products onto a conveyor from the racking for it to be transported to boxing and packaging lines- Pull individual packaged products from the conveyors and box them up then stack them on palletsEmployees will be designated to one of the two areas, but will float from each of the job responsibilities throughout the course of the day. All employees are eligible to be cross trained into other areas (i.e. mixing dough and running baking and packaging machinery).
