Description:
- Will be responsible for checking all completed aerospace parts for quality and accuracy customers.
- Will be utilizing various precision measurement tools including, dial calipers, Micrometers, height and depth gauges, and other various pieces of equipment.
- Will be responsible for reviewing engineering drawings and blueprints and making their necessary checks for tolerance's based off of the specifications.
- Must document and list all non compliant parts and follow up with any reporting that needs to be done as well.
- GD & T testing also plays a huge role in their quality inspections.
A large portion of their job will be documentation and paper work. They can expect to do a lot of hand writing and working with excel documents.
Total min of 2 years inspection experience
2 years Experience with GD & T
2 years experience with various precision tools
Must be able to identify through hole points in a circle
Experience with micrometers and calipers
Ability to inspect tolerances to the 10 thousandth.
Ability to use blue prints to evaluate inspection needed
Detail oriented with documentation and ability with general microsoft office applications. If they know how to send an email, this is good enough experience.
