Lab Technician

Actalent is Hiring a Lab Technician

(Hammond, IN)

Description:

will be rotating 12 hour shift either 6pm-6am (Basically throughout out a 14 day cycle they will work 7 days total and have every other weekend off)

Lab techs will be running various tests on different oil samples from clients

mainly wet chemistry testing

vapor pressure, distillation, octane tests, gc and various other tests

will be trained on and doing some tests with analytical instrumentation (GC)

Skills:

laboratory, Chemistry, Biology, Wet chemistry

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

BS degree

lab experience

great attention to detail

ability to work in fast paced environment

ability to learn and adapt to feedback

flexibility with schedule and ability to work weekends

1+ year lab experience in chemistry
