Medical Lab Technician

JOB SUMMARY: The Clinical Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Technician independently performs routine and special diagnostic procedures on blood and other body fluids from patients of all age groups served by SPH.  The position routinely performs waived, moderate and high complexity testing (with an Associates degree).

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: One-year experience as a generalist clinical laboratory technician in a hospital setting preferred.

EDUCATION:  Montana State Licensure as CLT required. National Licensure as Medical Laboratory Technician required. Associate degree in Medical Technology or equivalent preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY:  Licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technician in Montana.
