Our client, an industry leading chemical manufacturing company, is seeking a lab technician to assist with day to day testing.
Description:
路 Perform routine analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished products including daily checks by performing the following tests: titrations, FTIR, GC, HPLC, Color, viscometer, etc.
路 Perform calculations for batch adjustments
路 Perform tests in a lab environment using instrumentation and physical test methods.
路 Follow setup procedures for laboratory equipment
路 Follow work instructions for operation of laboratory equipment
路 Understand and consistently apply all customer and company quality standards
路 Follow all safety rules and regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE at all times

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
BS in Chemistry or other Sciences.
AS in Chemistry is acceptable.
Chemical manufacturing experience is preferred.
Must have familiarity with basic laboratory equipment preferably (GC/LC/FTIR) and techniques (titration, liquid-liquid partition)
