Purpose: We are looking for a self-motivated Finance Intern to join our Finance Department. This position will provide key support by performing data entry and administrative functions. This position is a full-time internship averaging around 40 hours per week.
Essential Duties:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
- Prepare excel templated for various lines of business and site teams
- Prepare summary reports for various lines of business
- Complete ROI summaries
- Develop processes how to best manage cash flow
- Other duties as assigned by management
Core Competencies:
- Currently enrolled in college with a major in Finance
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven strong organization skills, ability to manage multiple and varying tasks, and a quick learner
- Proven ability to prioritize, problem solve, and meet deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook required
- Good communication, phone and people skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional work ethic and reliability
Education:
- Current college junior or senior level students majoring in accounting, finance, or related majors required.
Physical Requirements: Tasks are usually performed in a sitting position. Accounting intern may be required to stand, walk, talk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp to complete assigned tasks.
