What you鈥檒l achieve
As a Senior Principal Software Engineer, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for private cloud (Kubernetes) to support GenAI and Cloud Native workloads on Baremetal platforms, leveraging most sophisticated opensource technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships.
You will:
路聽聽聽 Create automation, employ open-source software, interact with APIs, and enable CI/CD to create new cloud features, harvest/visualize metrics and monitor health/performance/capacity, etc.
路聽聽聽 Partner with product and development teams to provide education and design consultation
路聽聽聽聽Support development teams to migrate applications to Kubernetes based container platform
路聽聽聽聽Design specifications for high availability and highly scalable applications used by Dell Internal application teams
路聽聽聽聽Assist Data science and business teams with their AI/GenAI needs

Essential Requirements
路聽聽聽聽8 to 12 years of professional experience
路聽聽聽聽Strong working experience with Linux, Networking, storage fundamentals, application architecture, High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), Infrastructure services (DNS, Load Balancer, Firewall, Transport Layer Security (TLS) certifications, web servers and reverse proxies
路聽聽聽聽Deep working experience with Kubernetes networking, Certificate management, Kubernetes storage, Kubernetes monitoring/observability, HELM, NGINX, Ansible, Kubernetes role-based access control( RBAC), Container/pod security, Python/Golang and GIT (CI/CD)
路聽聽聽 Broad knowledge in systems telemetry and monitoring (Elastic Search, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace Splunk, etc.)
路聽聽聽聽Proficiency with Agile methodologies, effective working independently and in a virtual team setting across global regions
Desirable Requirements
路聽聽聽聽Bachelor鈥檚 degree in computer science or relevant field
路聽聽聽聽Experience with Opensource development and technologies like Calico, Operator SDK/use of Fabric8 API and other Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) technologies
